eTrust Internet Security Suite: Do Not Take Protection for Granted

Internet is the ?network of all networks?. It is composed of millions of smaller networks (business, academic, domestic, and government) which carry different information and online-based services, such as online chatting, file transfer, electronic mail services, and interlinked web pages as well as other documents stored in the World Wide Web. With such an enormous interconnection of various networks, transfer and acquisition of information is now fast, efficient, and reliable. Who would ever think that the Internet will be as powerful as it is nowadays?

Aside from fast and efficient transfer of information and other useful data, the Internet is now the biggest job, business, and product marketplace around the world. Whether you are looking for a new job, searching for a new business opportunity to start with, or want to sell or purchase different lines of products, the Internet is the best place to start with. Through various innovations integrated in the information superhighway, Internet became one of the fastest solutions in terms of livelihood and other means of generating revenues for individuals of different interests.

However, there are things that we neglect sometimes, which are superimposed by the benefits offered by the Internet. One of which is the online threats, composed of so-called ?cyber criminals?, creating chaos to the Internet public by means of developing virus programs and other elements that may harm an Internet user?s computer system. None of the 13 candidates is likely to top 50 percent in voting Wednesday, May 23, 2012 and Thursday, so a runoff vote is set for June 16-17. A president will be announced June 21. (AP Photo)

Profiles of Egypt's main presidential candidates:

AMR MOUSSA

Former head of the Arab League, he is tainted for serving Mubarak as foreign minister but popular for his criticism of Israel which he says got him fired by Mubarak. Of secular background and West-friendly, 75-year-old Moussa benefits from image as experienced and able to fix the economy. Campaigned in poor and rural areas, promising to help them.

AHMED SHAFIQ

The former Air Force commander and civil aviation minister was Mubarak's last prime minister and was dumped after the president's ouster. Shafiq scores points by presenting himself as a strongman and stabilizer who will restore law and order within 24 hours of taking office. Opponents view him as the military's favorite.

MOHAMMED MORSI

Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood's candidate was educated as an engineer in southern California. Elected to parliament several times under Mubarak's rule. Morsi, 60, lacks the charisma of the Brotherhood's first-choice candidate, Khairat el-Shater, who was disqualified because of a Mubarak-era conviction, but has the backing and organizational power of the Brotherhood, Egypt's strongest political movement. Its platform promises to reform corrupt institutions, put the state on an "Islamic basis" and apply more Islamic law.

ABDEL-MONEIM ABOLFOTOH

A rebel against conservatives within the Muslim Brotherhood, Abolfotoh, 60, was ousted from the group last year after he announced his presidential bid. The Brotherhood had decided not to field a candidate, but later changed its mind citing the military's mismanagement of the transitional period. He promotes a more inclusive line, opposing censorship and saying he would accept a Christian president. His liberal views and Islamic credentials could draw votes from both camps.

'House' Is Discharged After Eight Complex Seasons

We say goodbye to Hugh Laurie's challenging and entertaining Dr. Gregory House on Monday night.
By Tami Katzoff

Hugh Laurie on "House"

On Monday night (May 21), we say goodbye to Dr. Gregory House, one of the most iconic TV characters of this young century. For eight seasons, he's been confounding us, challenging us and, above all, entertaining us with his quirky brilliance and cutting wit.

On paper, the character doesn't seem to be very appealing: a crippled, self-destructive, drug-addicted doctor who distrusts, ignores and avoids his patients and alienates his friends — not exactly an endearing guy. But in the hands of the mighty Hugh Laurie, it works.

Laurie was barely known here in the U.S. before he took on the role of House. English folk knew him as a masterful sketch comedian and half of the dynamic duo (Stephen) Fry and Laurie. When he was brought across the pond to star in the new American drama series, he sparked the still-ongoing trend of talented Brit actors migrating to U.S. television.

Like the various "Law & Order" series, "House" is a procedural — there's always a medical mystery to be solved. Unlike "L&O," "House" is less about the cases and more about the people. One of the most contentious relationships on the show was between Dr. House and his boss, hospital administrator Dr. Lisa Cuddy. Lisa Edelstein's Cuddy was alternately lusted after and antagonized by House, and when they finally paired up after years of sexual tension, the fans were either ecstatic or repulsed. The romance ended because of House's Vicodin abuse, and the friendship ended because House, in a jealous rage, drove a car through the front of Cuddy's home.

Many fans would agree that House's true soul mate was Dr. James Wilson, perfectly portrayed by Robert Sean Leonard. Wilson stood by House through defiant drug addiction, detox, a stint in a mental institution and more than one trip to jail. Some would say Wilson, as House's only real friend, was the consummate enabler; I would say he was House's lifeline, his one unbroken link to the rest of humanity.

When we last saw them in the penultimate episode, Wilson was sick with cancer and House was heading back to jail. Monday night's episode is titled "Everybody Dies," a play on one of House's most favorite and infamous slogans "Everybody lies." Whatever happens, I expect there will be more than a few tears shed by the end of the night. I've already stocked up on tissues. I'll leave the Vicodin alone.

Share your favorite "House" moments in the comments below!

Pregnant woman killed by family? | Fellowship of the Minds

Guess their religion?

You are looking at evil

Daily Mail:? A pregnant wife was smothered to death by her husband, his parents and his brother-in-law who later all claimed she may have been killed by an evil spirit, a court has heard.

Nalia?Mumtaz, 21, was pronounced dead at hospital after being rushed there by paramedics who found her lying lifeless and ashen faced on a bed at the family home. Her unborn child died with her.

Her husband Mohammed Mumtaz, 24, his father Zia Ul Haq?and mother Salma?Aslam, both 51, as well as his brother-in-law?Hammad Hassan, 24, all deny charges of murder and manslaughter.

At Birmingham Crown Court, prosecutor Christopher Hotten said the cultural context in which Mrs. Mumtaz met her death on July 8, 2009 was of importance, as were the religious beliefs of the defendants, described as a ?traditional Muslim family with an emphasis on religious observance?.

He asked the jury: ?Was she or may she have been possessed by an evil spirit which took her life as the defendants were to suggest both at the time and after her death?? ?Or may she have died as a result of some unknown or undetected illness?? ?Or will you be sure that, as we say, she was assaulted, smothered, by these four defendants all of whom admit they were present when she died??

Mrs. Mumtaz?was born in Pakistan and willingly entered into an arranged marriage with her husband, then a student at Wolverhampton University, in August 2007.? She came to Britain for the first time the following May after obtaining a visa and moved into his parents? modern, three bedroom detached home in Birmingham.? Mr. Hotten said she was attractive, bright and was ?thrilled? by the prospect of motherhood after falling pregnant in February 2009.

During her pregnancy, she was regularly seen by a GP and various midwives ? the last time two days before her death ? and both she and her unborn child appeared healthy.

But her parents said she phoned them at their home in the Jhellum?district of Pakistan the day before her death and told them she was ?not at peace? living with her in-laws and was upset, Mr. Hotten said.

The jury was also told that numerous telephone calls were made to Mrs. Mumtaz?s relatives in Pakistan, the emergency services and other individuals in the hours before she was taken to hospital.

During the calls it is alleged that Ul Haq claimed that a ?djinn? ? or evil spirit ? had been sent from Pakistan, while a woman at the house was allegedly heard to say ?don?t call an ambulance yet ? we will cure her ourselves.?

Part-way through Mr. Hotten?s opening speech, Mumtaz collapsed in the dock in a clearly distressed state and the jury was sent home until tomorrow.

The case continues.

Religion of Peace strikes again.

Rooney recovering from injury ahead of Euro '12

By ROB HARRIS

updated 7:12 p.m. ET May 19, 2012

LONDON (AP) -England striker Wayne Rooney has been given an extended break to get fit before the European Championship after playing while injured for Manchester United in the final games of the Premier League.

England coach Roy Hodgson revealed details of the unspecified injury, which United manager Alex Ferguson had not disclosed as his side tried - and failed - to stop Manchester City winning the Premier League last weekend.

While United also wouldn't comment on the detail of the injury, the website of the Daily Telegraph reported that it was a toe problem.

Rooney is suspended for England's first two Euro 2012 games next month, and is also not set to feature in the warm-up matches against Norway and Belgium before the team heads to the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.

"I think he'll benefit from the rest and also he's been playing with a slight injury for the last three or four games and that needed a couple of weeks to really clear up," Hodgson said. "It's a minor injury which has been kept relatively quiet for obvious reasons that Manchester United didn't want to alert opponents. It's a minor one.

"I won't go into it because Alex has kept it quiet so I'm going to."

Rooney is due to join up with the England squad on May 29 in the buildup to the June 2 match against Belgium at Wembley Stadium.

"His enthusiasm for the task was really fantastic and when I offered him even a couple of more days rest if he wanted he was adamant he wanted to get in when we met up for the friendly against Belgium," Hodgson said. "He wanted to be a part of it. I would have given him a few days because we've got time to get people fit."

Rooney has been pictured in the British media on holiday in Las Vegas this week clutching what appeared to be a bottle of beer in a casino.

"The good thing these days about football players, although it's not necessarily the perception out there in the wide world, is that they actually look after themselves quite well," Hodgson said, speaking generally and before the pictures of Rooney emerged.

"I'm not saying they don't have a drink occasionally and get themselves drunk but they don't need much to get drunk, a lot of them, because they're quite fit people."

Rooney will watch from the sidelines when England starts the Euro 2012 group stage against France and Sweden after receiving a two-match ban from UEFA for kicking Montenegro defender Miodrag Dzudovic in the final qualifier. He will be eligible for the Group D finale against Ukraine in Donetsk.

Rooney scored four goals at Euro 2004, when he was only 18.

But he did not score at the 2006 or 2010 World Cups while England didn't qualify for Euro 2008.
